Kuali OLE

Kuali OLE (Open Library Environment) is developing the first system designed by and for academic and research libraries for managing and delivering intellectual information. It was funded in 2010 by numerous founding partners including the University of Chicago, Penn State, and the Kuali Foundation as well as a grant from the Andrew W. Mellon Foundation. Kuali OLE hopes to attract independent vendors to deliver services and support in the future. Current modules allow to acquisitions, metadata management, rights management, discovery tools, and a host of other functions.
