The community of libraries, developers, and support providers has created many resources to assist librarians and systems staff as they manage the transition to OSS ILS, but these resources are scattered among various websites, wikis, forums, listservs, and other sites without a single convenient way to access them. The objectives of Opensource ILS are to provide a convenient gateway to these resources, share the results of research related to OSS, and encourage libraries using or considering switching to OSS to engage in community discussion through blogs and forums. Opensource ILS is also willing to work closely with libraries in need of assistance during any stage of the migration process.
